Alfredo Sauce Ingredients:
2 pats of butter
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup of milk
1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
pepper, Italian seasoning, and garlic to taste
Put butter in heated skillet and melt. Add seasonings. Add mushroom soup and milk. Mix with a whisk until smooth and creamy. Add cheese and continue whisking. Done.
Seriously…it is that easy. Jason and I both really like this meal and it is very, very easy to do. In the above picture I served the sauce over Market Pantry (from Target) cheese tortellini (which takes about 5 minutes to make). But, you can serve it with fettuccine noodles, penne pasta, whatever you heart desires. Also, feel free to add meatballs, chicken, or shrimp to the sauce. I have done this before, but often we eat it meat-less.
Serve with salad and bread and voila–an easy weeknight dinner!
