You can pick your nose & your friends, but you can’t pick your family!

At the end of June, Jason and I traveled to Kansas City for the annual KEARNEY FAMILY REUNION. It was a special time since this was the first major outing for Granny, Jason’s grandmother, since her stroke late last summer. We are so thankful for her continued perserverence and for God’d healing in her life.

Jason and his mom trying to figure out some complex problem, such as should the lasagna go next to the baked beans or the jello salad?  (Notice Jason’s shirt…cracks me up)

Jason’s grandmother (in the middle) studying the family tree.

And finally, Jason’s grandfather leading the family prayer (which can be notoriously long). Who doesn’t need a pair of teal pants??? Ladies and gents, if you want to see how Jason will be as a senior citizen, here you go!
