I work hard to make our house a home and for me, part of that is making it visually appealing and inviting. Given my artistic sensibilities I love [...]

My Desktop

I collect images I like on my desktop. When I see something I like, I right-click and “save image as” straight to my desktop. Jason says I have too many icons on my desktop, but I love having all those little wonderful portals that take me to visual deliciousness.
Have a peek for yourself…

Confession

Decorating 101

While I already have a rug that really ties the room together, I need something to sit on that rug. For a while I resisted the idea of a coffee table, but it would make the room much more functional and inviting to guests. If you get stuck sitting in the middle of the couch, there [...]

Style

Right now I have a big, empty space above my couch in my living room. It’s been this way for a year now. For me, that’s a long time to go with open wall space. I have been contemplating doing a salon-style wall above my couch, but am unsure how it will look. While I [...]
